AI Agent Production Readiness is an advanced course within Inteq's Agentic AI curriculum. Participants should first complete Discovering Agentic AI Opportunities and Analyzing & Specifying AI Agent Business Requirements.

The course is business-oriented rather than a programming course. Participants do not need to write code, but they should already understand AI agent concepts, validated agent opportunities, and the business requirements that define agent roles, decisions, authority, interactions, data, knowledge, and operating boundaries.

AI agent requirements define what an agent must do; production readiness establishes what must be in place for that agent to operate safely, reliably, and responsibly in a production environment.

Requirements analysis defines the agent's role, responsibilities, decisions, authority, prompts, interactions, data, knowledge, tools, exceptions, and other business requirements. Production readiness builds on those specifications by addressing guardrails, governance, transparency, explainability, regulatory compliance, responsible AI, security, resilience, multi-agent coordination, lifecycle management, governed learning, and operational controls.

Together, the disciplines bridge the gap between an engineering-ready agent specification and a governed agent that is prepared for enterprise deployment.

The Production Readiness Package is the integrated deliverable participants build throughout the course. It brings the governance and operational requirements needed for deployment review into a coordinated framework.

The package integrates areas such as:

• Agent guardrails, constraints, authority limits, and scope boundaries
• Transparency, explainability, and decision-trace requirements
• Regulatory, compliance, audit, and Responsible AI requirements
• AI-specific threat models and security controls
• Resilience, failure-mode, exception, and continuity designs
• Multi-agent coordination and conflict-resolution requirements
• Lifecycle governance, learning boundaries, change control, and drift detection

Yes. AI-specific security is a core production-readiness discipline covered in the course.

Participants examine threats including prompt injection, data poisoning, model manipulation, privilege escalation, adversarial input, and unauthorized agent behavior. The course applies a structured threat-modeling approach to identify vulnerabilities and translate them into security controls and testing requirements.

Security is integrated with governance rather than treated as a separate technical exercise, helping teams establish controls that reinforce agent authority limits, policy requirements, compliance obligations, and operational safety.

You will be able to apply a structured, repeatable methodology for assessing and designing the controls required to move AI agents toward safe, governed enterprise production.
