ITIL Implementation Workshop Part 2 Overview

Transforming the Baseline Framework into a Roadmap | 2-Day Interactive Workshop

Inteq2_ITIL ITSM 04 ITW2-1A core principal of ITIL is to “Start where you are.” In Part 1 of the workshop, we established where you are. Inteq’s ITIL Implementation Workshop Part 2 builds on and leverages the framework created in Part 1 to develop an actionable roadmap. The roadmap is specially designed for your organization, to enable your team to confidently move forward from “where you are” (possibly just getting started, or restarting, or getting “un-stuck”) and pivoting toward a new direction in applying and realizing value from ITIL.

Many organizations approach ITIL implementation by identifying industry best practices and then moving forward based on a trial-and-error approach. If the implementation has sufficient senior management support, patience and budget, the trial-and-error approach can get you there – albeit slowly.  However, there is significant risk that senior management and stakeholders will lose interest before you get there resulting in loss of support for the project.

Leadership and stakeholders in most organizations typically want to see the benefits from ITIL quickly. They are not so much interested in “ITIL” per se, but in improving the delivery of IT services to customers, increasing the efficiency of operations and seeing continual improvement. This cannot be achieved through trial-and-error. This requires highly experienced expert guidance in developing and executing a clear, practical, achievable, actionable implementation roadmap.

Inteq’s ITIL Implementation Workshop Part 2 is designed to achieve these objectives and enable your organization to quickly realize value from ITIL.

ITIL Implementation is a journey that includes both a starting point and arrival points. The focus of this workshop is on working with your business, IT and ITIL team to develop and refine an ITIL implementation roadmap tailored and optimized for your organization, based on best practices and expert knowledge gleaned from the experience of numerous ITIL implementations. The roadmap will identify and define the key steps necessary to move from “where you are” to where you want to be including continuous improvement and long-term sustainability.
