Business Systems Analysis - Part I: Discovering, Analyzing & Specifying Business System Business Requirements
Inteq's Business Systems Analysis training program (Part I + Part 2) provides the essential critical thinking skills, conceptual knowledge and best practice techniques to rapidly discover, thoroughly analyze and accurately specify business system business requirements from a business perspective.
Business Systems Analysis Part I is the first day and Part II is the second day of this acclaimed 2-day instructor led business systems analysis training program.
Part I develops the first core category of requirements – transactional-oriented requirements. Transactional requirements are what business systems need to do to support the business and the rules that define how to do it.
The skills, knowledge and techniques acquired from this training apply to any type of analysis project - from the development of new applications to modification of existing applications to the selection and integration of vendor commercial solutions; and, to any system methodology that requires the discovery, elicitation, analysis and specification of requirements.
Why this training program is important to you and to your organization
Many organizations utilize informal text-based methods such as bullet lists and indented outlines to analyze and specify requirements – which often lack standardization, are often applied inconsistently and are typically subject to a wide range of interpretations.
A number of organizations utilize technical design oriented methods such as class design diagrams and object interaction diagrams to analyze and specify requirements – which are difficult for business end users to understand and validate.
Both approaches frequently result in inaccurate, ambiguous and incomplete specifications with critical gaps that frustrate business end-users. The resulting systems often require costly post-implementation enhancements and modifications.
Unlike any other training, Inteq training is uniquely designed around a cohesive set of practical, highly effective, business end-user friendly, best practice standards – enabling your organization to efficiently leverage analysis resources and business end-user knowledge across the enterprise!
